always have loved this creature, i tried to model it once already and that result is in my gallery, but its been a while and i've improved so i thought i'd give it another shot.

and theres been a different version in every movie so far, this is my take on the alien.

i do have one question for everyone, what do you think the tubes that come ouf of the creatures back do?

i could spend an hour talking about this thing, but i wont.

I just saw second movie Predator vs Alien. I think that tube that comes out of the creature's mouth lays eggs into its victims, or eats them. could be both.

from what i understand of those 2 terrible movies, in the second one "Requiem" the pred-alien hybrid does lay eggs directly into its host through a tube in the mouth.

i was referring to the tubes/spindles that come out of the back of the alien creature. look here [link]

Those tubes on the back were actually meant to be a reproductive system as far as I know. I'm talking about the full-grown specimen after the metamorphosis.

Their variable anatomy leads back to that fact that the aliens DNA mixes up with the genetic structure of the host. Thats why the alien from the third movie is a quadruped for example - the host was a dog.
